Kaveeshwarar temple one of  the very oldest sivan temple in history as per temple committee updates this temple is 2800+ years old wereas temple been originated by karumalai siddhar on or after king Krishnadevaraya and king tippu sultan ruled periods

Temple Timings : 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM and 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM (Normal days)

Monday Timings : 6:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM

Special days Pournami (full moon day) 

6:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM 

(This afternoon timings 12:30 AM is for pilgrims Girivalam) Girivalam starts from Kaveeshwarar temple - venkateshwara temple - hanuman temple - kuppam road - angalaman temple - back to kaveeshwarar temple) total pilgrims will cover 7km.
